Swiss Chard

Swiss Chard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 lbs swiss chard or similar green
  • 4 tsp melted butter
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice

Get Ingredients

Rinse Chard and separate the stems from the leaves. Cut stems into 2 inch pieces. Cut leaves crosswise into 1 inch strips. In a saucepan add 2 teaspoons butter, heat until melted.

Add stems to pan and sauté for 5 minutes. Add leaves; Cook another 5 minutes. Add remaining 2 teaspoons butter and pepper. Mound the swiss chard in the center of a serving plate and drizzle with vinegar or lemon juice.
