Mexican Higado Tacos
- 1/2 lbs liver
- 8 jalapeños
- 1 medium onion
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 corn tortillas or 8 flour tortillas
Chop jalapeños and onion, and saute them, with the oil, until the onion is clear. Do not brown. Separately fry the liver, in a skillet, to medium. Cut liver into small pieces(bite sized or smaller).
Put all ingredients together with tomato sauce in pan and cook for 10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve on warm corn or flour tortillas, not taco shells.
